WIDSON-50 is a modular jack-up platform designed for coastal marine and inland waterway operations. The platform is used at port and coastal infrastructure facilities where a reliable working platform is required, with the ability to elevate the hull on support legs and safely accommodate equipment.
The platform is suitable for geotechnical surveys using a URB 2A2 drilling rig or equivalent equipment, as well as for field soil investigations using static cone penetration testing. Operations may be performed both for port infrastructure, including berths and approach channels, and in offshore areas, including jack-up rig installation sites and landfall areas of offshore pipelines.
WIDSON-50 can also be used for dredging operations with an excavator weighing up to 25 tonnes, sediment removal using a mobile crane and submersible pump, placement of inert materials, drilling and blasting operations, and accommodation of a diving station and hyperbaric chamber for underwater engineering operations.
The platform has a demountable modular structure consisting of seven main modules and four modules for the jack-up support legs. The modules are connected using special reusable locking devices, making the platform convenient to transport, assemble, and adapt to different project requirements.
